It's easy to use and will get you back on two wheels in no time. More time for miles of smiles, rather than expletives on the side of the road or trail. Yea, we have all been there. The TCS Tire Plug Kit uses durable "Rocket" anchors (because they look like tiny rockets) that stay in your tire and hold the plug in place. You will not lose a plug. The anchor will hold it in place like a ship at dock. But wait... there's more... You can reuse the anchors when you're all done. It's like a treasure chest when you need to swap-out your tires. The Rocket Plug Kit also features an 'Extra Hand' tool under the smaller cap. If you haven't pre-loaded the Rocket, the Extra Hand will temporarily plug the hole and take the pressure off while you prepare your Rockets and plugs. We went through a lot of arguments at WTB to get this thing dialed and man, we are so stoked on how it turned out. We hope you like it as much as we do. REUSABLE "ROCKET" ANCHORS Rocket anchors rotate once pushed into the tire and physically prevent the plug from pulling back through the tire when running higher pressure or through heavy cornering like traditional plugs can. Oh, we tried to pull it through, and we were holding up e-bikes from the plug. The anchor remains fixed in place until it’s removed from the inside of the tire and put back in the tool for future use. Reusable and Recyclable! Win, win! EXTRA HAND The Extra Hand (because who couldn't use an extra hand every once and a while) stopper can be pushed into the puncture to temporarily stop any loss of air while a rider determines how many tire plugs are needed and prepares to seal it. The Extra Hand can also be used as a reamer to create a more uniform hole for the tire plugs to seal. COMPACT AND LIGHT The TCS Rocket Tire Plug Kit is CNC’d from 6061 aluminum alloy with an integrated extra hand tool and plunger. It also has internal storage for four anchors (two large and two small included), and fifteen 1.5mm diameter tire plugs. Ready to Launch Rocket anchors can be preloaded with 1-4 tire plugs depending on the terrain and size of punctures riders typically encounter. Preloaded Rocket anchors are then placed on the plunger, ready to launch the moment a puncture occurs. The clock is ticking! TCS Tubeless TCS (Tubeless Compatible System) is WTB's standardized tubeless system. When you do get a puncture with a tubeless tire with sealant inside, this is a great way to fix it.

Surly Rim Strips have one job and they do it well. They cover the cutouts in your rim and — if you're running a tube — they protect it from spoke heads and other sharp matter (okay, so maybe they have TWO jobs but they do them both really well.) Rim strips are crucial and should be used with all Surly rims. Ours come in an array of colors so you can really "express yourself." Surly Rim strips are available in two different materials: PVC and Nylon. PVC is great if you plan on only running tubes. However, if there's any part of you that wants to try this tubeless thing you've been hearing about, Nylon strips are just the ticket. They're thinner and offer minimal stretch so they stay put and lay nicely inside the rim to provide a secure seal. Plus, they're lighter which we all know means you'll go faster… maybe.
